DeMers Automotive, Inc. was founded in 1993 when Marvin DeMers and his wife Sheila acquired DeMers Service Center, Inc. from Marvin's father, Richard DeMers. The company provides high quality automotive repairs and service for Longmont and the surrounding communities.
The rich and distinguished history of DeMers Automotive has combined family with automotive repair and service for more than six decades. And that tradition continues today. As the automotive industry evolves, modern generations of complex vehicles require cutting edge technical knowledge. Marvin and Sheila DeMers - Owners
Our extended family has been in the auto repair business since 1959. My father Richard DeMers owned a service station business in Nebraska and moved it to Longmont, Colorado in 1986. We worked together for 17 years in total.
In 1986 I married my wife Sheila. As a "behind the scenes" co-owner, she has been instrumental in sharing the management of our business throughout the years.
We have two wonderful children who have been a great support for us and our business. Our family and business together remain strong and are a complete and fulfilling way of life. We enjoy ATV riding, jeeping, and camping when we find time.

1987 Graduated: American Diesel and Automotive College, Denver, CO
I began working for Richard DeMers at the North Main Amaco location in February 1987. When Marvin and Sheila DeMers acquired the business in July of 1993, I continued to work for them and have been with DeMers Automotive ever since.
I am ASE certified and still spend quite a bit of time working back in the shop in addition to my responsibilities of running the office. I also attend classes as offered to keep up with the newest technologies related to the automotive industry.
